June "Best Shirt" Award

The "Best Shirt" contest fell on the first day of June, and most of the contestants thought they were going to be a "sure thing", figuring that very few people are in town, and nobody is going to be at the Beach Bar tonight.  SURPRISE!!!!

There was a good contingent of "locals" at the Beach Bar, including a very good array of possible winners, and at one time in the decision process, Mary alluded to having co-winners.  But somehow, the judges' decision came down to one winner, and we can't tell if it's because of bribery or just plain bad taste; no sour grapes/margarita here.  Any way, a good time was had by all, and it was culminated with a well attended banquet out on the porch at the Lol Ha restaurant.

You knew it was a bad night when Bud has Mary sriously considering his propisition, whatever it is.	Pauli is getting fortified for his tentative acceptance speech, regardless of what Bud has said to Mary.
Thierry and Paul are figuring on being co-winners in a "one for all, all for one" approach.	SteveC just sucks it in with, "Been there, done that."
Gerardo is without his prize winning shirt, but he has Gayle all smiles.	Pablo & Nayeli sit on the sidelines wondering what all the fuss is about.
Gayle has Hurley's full attention as she provides words of advice on a shirt for next month.	Jisou and Mary are in the final stages of the decision process as Mary prepares to award the June "Best Shirt Award" to . . . . .
Bud Blatner and his Philly Special. It looks like those pleas did not go on deaf ears. COLORFUL is the word.
