Planet 2012, February 5, 2010

On Friday, February 5, Richard Mazzola  had a showing of a series of captivating and colorful oil paintings at Villa Taj Kumal, located at the entrance to Las Casitas and next to TSA Travel Agency, in Akumal.  The show was titled PLANET 2012, and it explored the wonders of the Mayan calendar ending in the year 2012 through Richard's art.  The pictures exhibited fascinating and ancient mysteries alluding to rebirth, enlightenment, and harmonic convergence.
