Kentucky Derby Day, Akumal Style

On Saturday, May 2nd, a huge crowd gathered at Lol Ha Beach bar, the "Akumal Downs" version of Churchill Downs, to enjoy the 135th Kentucky Derby.  It was a warm day under a clear, blue sky, and the Mint Juleps were flowing.   Betting was quite heavy, and the Betting Window was closed well before Post Time.  Needless to say, a good time was had by all.

And, it was a very exciting race and finish.
