On August 4th, Gabriella Herbert hosted a wine reception for the well known Yucatan artist, Victor Arqaez, from Buctzotz. From the photos, it looks like a good time was had by all, and many of the attendees left with some of Victor's art.
Then, a few weeks later, on August 28, Annette Bartsch hosted another reception for Victor Arqaez at La Lunita. This also was very well attended by the 'locals and other artists from Akumal and Playa Del Carmen. The press was there as well, including Por Esto. There are no photos from this Event, other than ones in the full page spread in Por Esto the following day. See last photo.
